As Area Sales Manager you will maximize sales opportunities through your team and ensure profit generation from the sale of homes through creating site specific effective sales strategies, whilst working closely with in-house project managers and the marketing team.
You will take charge of a sales team across multiple changes to development sites and be responsible for achieving individual development and collective sales targets.
You will manage performance for the successful delivery of all outright sale and shared ownership residential sales on mixed tenure projects, achieving budgeted income within budgeted cost levels, ensuring gross margin on turn over target achieved monthly, quarterly and annually.
You will seek to ensure your that your team understand fully your customers’ needs, identifying and working to remove pain points, and always doing what you say you will.
Ensuring that your developments always present well and that you compete well in a busy market is essential.
You will have proven New Homes sales experience and experience of managing a new homes sales team.
You will have demonstrable experience of formulating and implementing successful and innovative sales strategies, with extensive experience in a similar position within a driven sales environment.
You will also have demonstrable commercial acumen and experience of sales essential in either the private or ‘Affordable’ housing sectors – ideally both.
You will have motivational and supportive management experience and the ability to develop and ‘grow’ sales executives.
You are passionate about leading teams to deliver an excellent customer experience by being easy, reliable and empathetic in the way they deal with customers and colleagues. You work relentlessly to identify and remove pain points and consistently lead others to do the same.
Please note that this role requires a full driving licence and use of car, able to drive to different locations and the ability to work flexibly, including some weekend working and being on call at weekends for your team as needed
