Corporate Social Responsibility
We at Blayze Group ensure to take our Corporate Social Responsibility seriously and are committed to utilising our corporate advantage to improve the welfare of those around us, recognised through our Gold Standard in Investors in People in 2015. With staff members in both our London and Manchester offices being LandAid ambassadors, we have established a firm relationship with the charity and regularly fundraise for their causes. For example, we host an annual Property Five-a-Side tournament that both unites the Property and Construction industry and last year raised £1,394 for our chosen charities. Similarly, our Manchester Office hosts MacMillan Coffee Mornings and oversees a monthly office collection for the Manchester food bank.
Looking After Our Employees
As well as looking towards external CSR, we also prioritise the well-being of our Blayze Group employees. We choose to subscribe to Fruitful Offices: a weekly fruit delivery service to our offices which not only promotes our employees’ welfare but also means each week one fruit tree is planted in Africa. Likewise, our Cycle to Work Scheme encourages our employees to take the more energetic, environmental commute to the office. Also, all of our offices have modern designing with energy-saving lighting and heating.
We are also aware of our responsibility for the Property and Construction industry as a whole: Blayze Group’s representation on the National Association for Women in Construction provides support in ambassadorship for careers in construction across schools in the UK.
