It may be a week later, and our football players may still have a few bruises healing, but we’re absolutely delighted with the roaring success that was the Blayze Group Property 5-A-Side Tournament. The event featured 25 companies, 200 attendees from the Property & Construction sector, 1 masseuse and countless burgers consumed after.
Throughout the week, Blayze Group employees were sharing what home meant to them and why Shelter and LandAid’s campaign to end homelessness was so important to support at this event. It was an event which united the property and construction sector with football, networking and fundraising.
Gardiner & Theobald LLP took home the coveted trophy and JLL the winning plate so another big congratulations to them! The highlight of the day was the total raised for LandAid and Shelter being £1444! We are also honoured to say that LandAid selected us at their #FridayHero this week for the event.
Congratulations to all our winners:
- Trophy winner: Gardiner & Theobald
- Trophy Runner-Up: Sheppard Robson
- Plate Winner: JLL/ Cormack
- Plate Runner-Up: Property Week
- Wooden Spoon: Bruce Shaw
- Player of the Tournament: Jack Castle from Gardiner & Theobald
A couple of individuals to thank, without whom this event wouldn’t have been the success it was. The two leaders of the day, Leo Gee and Harry Macgregor deserve a round of applause for sparking the event last year and taking it to new heights this year.
See you for #property5aside ’18! Details to be announced in the coming weeks.
