Unsurprisingly, new figures published in August on the recent state of the recruitment market in the UK have shown that many companies are still cautious about taking on new staff due to the current uncertain economic outlook.
That said, whilst the market is still uncertain there is a strong level of recruitment activity across Blayze Group’s core sectors and consequently the search for high calibre talent is as strong as ever. The candidate landscape has changed over the last 12 months! Candidates were more available 12 months ago and easily reachable through traditional recruitment methods. Client companies are now finding it hard to attract high calibre candidates as candidates look to stay with their current employers and those that look to leave are now been counter offered to stay.
During August Blayze Group were engaged by clients to goto market and identify high calibre candidates through a structured headhunt process. This headhunting approach produces fantastic results and shortens the traditional recruitment timeline. The approach allows the client to focus on their business rather than managing a high volume of candidate applications or dealing with multiple recruitment agencies safe in the knowledge that the recruitment responsibility has been taken on by Blayze Group.
Blayze Group is continuing to work with clients in this way and we certainly see the headhunting process as a key tool for clients in attracting high calibre candidates.
