Workplace Designer | Central London | Up to £45,000 Package

Blayze Group are working exclusively with a Design and Build studio in Central London who are looking for an experienced Workplace Designer to join their team developing award winning projects for Tech, Start-up and Finance companies. Projects regularly incorporate aspects of hospitality, recreational, commercial, and heritage design. This is a hugely creative role for an all-round designer.

The ideal person will have experience working in Design & Build with strong Concept and Technical Design abilities. This role will suit a creative designer looking for more responsibility with the expectation that you can take projects from concept to delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will:

  • Assist and support the Senior Designers on their Concept Design needs
  • Develop Technical Documentation for construction
  • Manage client expectations from concept through to completion
  • Produce Technical 2D and 3D drawings
  • Develop concept design to budget/time
  • Assist the team on key space planning drawings
  • Assist with presentation drawings, visuals and pitches

RELATED JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: The following requirements are essential to this position:

  • Design Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years working in a UK Design/Architecture studio
  • Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp
  • Very strong Technical Design ability
  • Site experience
  • Excellent 2D and 3D Technical drawing ability
  • Astute attention to detail
  • Samples that communicate your experience of the above
  • Right to remain in the UK

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:The following experience is non-essential but will be advantageous to the role:

  • Revit knowledge
  • 3D Visualization with knowledge of 3D Studio Max
