Quantity Surveyor - Manchester

Client facing Quantity Surveyor/Cost Manager role with global property consultancy

Sector: Surveying & Project Management Type: Permanent Location: North West Salary (circa): 35K - 45K Plus Package

The Company

This global consultancy provides a range of services to the construction and property industry with a focus on project, cost and construction management.

Working with developers, investors, financial institutions, NGOs and local and national governments, teams of experienced consultants service a blue chip client portfolio across sectors including retail, hospitality, education, health, transport and power.

Whether fulfilling the role of Cost Consultancy, Project Management, Development Monitoring, Employer's Agent or CDM Advisor, the emphasis is on the expertise of its people and the quality of service to the client. As a result, this consultancy invests heavily in in-house and external training for its staff and it is well known for having one of the best graduate development programmes in the industry.

With an HQ in London and offices throughout the UK this organisation also has a substantial presence in the USA, Middle East, Europe and APAC countries, so there are opportunities to travel and work on some of the largest global projects.

There is a well-established presence in the North West and the company is involved in a number of large regeneration projects, city centre high rise residential developments and complex public sector infrastructure works.

Despite its global reach, this organisation values its independent roots and eschews the corporate culture typically found in companies of this size. Teamwork is actively encouraged both in the office and at the many sporting and social events organised throughout the year.
