Several members of the Blayze Group team attended the recent Surveyor Sevens tournament held at Richmond Athletic Association's ground to raise money for LandAid, the property industry charity.
The Surveyors Sevens is always a popular event in the industry and fine weather combined with the prospect of top sporting action and a selection of liquid refreshments proved an irresistible combination for many property industry professionals. The event was a veritable who's who of the property sector and the Blayze Group crew renewed acquaintances with friends and clients old and new from Knight Frank, JLL, Cushman and Wakefield, BNP Paribas, Paragon, LSH, GVA, CBRE and more.
Leo Gee - who manages the Consultancy Team at Blayze Group's London office - is well known for keeping a cool head and steady hand under pressure, so it was no surprise that Leo triumphed in the LandAid Buzzwire challenge - in what we believe was a new record time of just 14 seconds (still awaiting official ratification from the sport's governing body).
Blayze Group is always keen to support LandAid, which is doing such good work to eliminate youth homelessness in the UK. The property industry is a diverse community drawing from all backgrounds and the Surveyors Sevens is a great opportunity for the industry to come together for a bit of friendly competition, networking and good fun. Being able to support the good work of the property industry's charity is the icing on the cake.
Thanks are due to everyone involved in the organisation of the event - volunteers, sponsors, referees and all the participants and spectators who made the Surveyor Sevens 2016 such a memorable day!
We believe congratulations are also in order for Knight Frank, who we're told also picked up some silverware on the day. No doubt they'll be back next year for the main event, but in the meantime there's only one Buzzwire Champion 2016 - Blayze Group's own Leo Gee!
LandAid brings the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young people who are or have been homeless, or who are at risk of homelessness in the future. LandAid's goal is to end youth homelessness by 2026.

Alan and Blayze Group generally are a refreshing change to deal with and they are now our preferred recruiter for professional staff. We have no hesitation in recommending to others.
